Head of Wealth Strategies

As Head of Wealth Strategies, John brings nearly three decades of wealth management and planning experience to Clarendon Private. He recently retired as the National Fiduciary Services Executive for Bank of America, where he was responsible for tax, custody, IRAs, insurance, trust and estate settlement, and fiduciary resources operations. Prior to that, John was the national executive responsible for wealth strategies and financial/estate planning for Bank of America’s wealth management businesses. Before Bank of America, John led the wealth strategies organizations for both FleetBoston and State Street Global Advisors.

John is a graduate of Boston College and Cornell Law School. A licensed attorney in MA/NH/ME, John is also a licensed real estate broker in MA/NH and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist.

John currently serves on the boards of Goodwill Northern New England and Social Venture Partners. He is the former Chairman of the Board of Boston Cares and a former board member of The Boston Estate Planning Council, Learning Ally, The Judge Baker Children’s Center, and The Lincoln Community Preservation Committee.

John is married with two adult children and lives in Concord, MA.
