Edwin “Tucker” Hamlin

As an Investment Portfolio Specialist, Tucker brings more than six years of investment management experience to Clarendon Private and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®).
Most recently, Tucker was an investment strategy analyst at SVB Private. In the role, he worked with wealth advisors to build customized portfolios and provide investment advice to prospects and clients through a deep understanding of market conditions, the firm’s investment philosophy, and platform.
Previously, Tucker served as a portfolio advisor at Boston Private until the company’s acquisition by SVB in 2021. He managed more than $2 billion in assets for eight senior wealth advisors, directing investment strategies and construction portfolios across all asset classes, sectors, and risk tolerances.
Tucker resides in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood with his wife, Katie, where they enjoy spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, and cheering on Boston’s professional sports teams. He enjoys playing squash, golfing, and skiing (both on the water and down the mountain) and is actively involved with the local non-profit, SquashBusters, where he helps fundraise, coach, and tutor Boston students.
